Hope we’re all looking forward to Warmwell Winter Scooter Rally this weekend? This is the last big scooter event on the British calendar before the Burton Brewers Show kicks off the 2020 season in February next year.
Hot off the press from the BSRA meeting at Southport Scooter Rally today, here are the dates and venues for the national scooter rallies in 2020.

Meanwhile the Monsters and Olympic SCs announced Cleethorpes rally would be given a rest for another year. Regarding the Isle of Wight, it will go ahead over the August Bank Holiday weekend although final details will be announced in due course as local planning permission may affect the rally location. The weekend of the last BSRA scooter rally of the year is fast approaching, we’ve changed the oil in our scooters, checked the tyre pressures and fitted a couple of new parts for testing – Southport here we come!
Edition 16 of ScooterNova is well on the way to completion and we’re pretty excited about what’s inside! Not only some great articles, but we’re also doing something a little special for all those who subscribe to the magazine.
Here is the ScooterNova magazine video of another great bank holiday weekend at the BSRA Isle of Wight Scooter Rally. Using a Sena 10C Pro helmet camera we captured our ride there and back and also shot footage on the island of the rally itself, including the custom show, traders and the ride out. All that and we still managed to work two days on the ScooterNova magazine stall as well! The soundtrack is provided by Smoove and Turrell – the headline act at the Scooter Rally on the Saturday night – along with the sweet purr of 2-stroke engines. Can you spot yourself somewhere in the next four minutes?
**ScooterNova magazine is an independent publication, produced by
scooterists for scooterists. It is published bi-monthly on quality
paper, with credible articles written by fellow riders. Available from
all good scooter shops or mail order via subscription, for more details
visit the magazine’s website. (for UK customers who want to subscribe via Direct Debit please click here)
As stated in the latest edition of ScooterNova magazine itself, to compliment the review of the edition 215 that has just been published we have added this brief online gallery. With most of the 100 scooters entered exhibited on the day there simply wasn’t the space in the magazine to show them all, so here are some of the photos we couldn’t fit in to the pages. You’ll find more images on the SLUK website too. As with all the running around and organising of the event on the day neither Iggy nor myself actually managed to capture every single scooter there on film (or rather the digital equivalent!). Thanks again to all those who exhibited scooters, attended the event and helped out with its smooth running. The feedback from exhibitors, visitors and traders alike is that this event was up there with the best of them and everyone had a great day out. Sorted.
The brand new edition of ScooterNova magazine is due to hit the streets right in time for the Isle of Wight Scooter Rally this August Bank Holiday weekend. We’ll be riding down and plotting up on the official rally campsite at Smallbrook Stadium, will you be joining us? Edition 15 of course features the amazing
