With the brand new edition 12 of ScooterNova magazine published this week, we’ve been asked by many where it will be available this weekend.
In chronological order, at the Modrapheniacs Rally in Sandford, Dorset from 1-3 March you will find ScooterNova magazine at the South West Scooter Clubs stall on the Saturday with the other traders inside the venue. Not only will we have the latest edition 12 of ScooterNova magazine, but there will be some new SWSC merchandise also available.
The VCB stand will also be present and that too will have the new edition of ScooterNova magazine in stock, idea for club members signing-on over the weekend!
On Sunday 3 March at Wicksteed Park Parts Fair, our friends at Scootopia will be selling the new ScooterNova magazine from their stall. As well as the latest edition of our publication, Scootopia also promise to have around 450 of their own products available and are encouraging people to pre-order to avoid disappointment. They are also offering a deal on certain Michelin tyres on the day and you can find out more on the Scootopia blog.
Our friends at Crusader Promotions will also have copies of the new ScooterNova magazine at Wicksteed, as well as a selection of scooter rally merchandise including the 2019 official BSRA T-shirt and patch.
**ScooterNova is an independent scooter magazine, published bi-monthly by fellow scooter enthusiasts.
Edition 12 will include ROAD TESTS of the Casa Performance ONE35 Lui/J kit (ridden over the Alps) and Iggy’s review of his Quattrini kitted Lambretta, one year on. PLUS a ride on the new Vespa GTS300 HPE, tips on riding abroad this year (what may or may not change), Bravest of the Brave custom Vespa PX, Fast ‘n’ tasty Lambretta Series 2 Street Racer, an amazing ride on old Lambrettas up to one of the highest driveable roads in the world, one of the first 500 Douglas Vespas ever produced, a look at period racing parts for Lambretta C and D models, a RARE German Kroboth scooter, Banksy custom Lambretta, PLUS the VCB RRC, 2018’s BSM championships, more from the Pondering Prince, new and used product reviews.

Good news folks, edition 9 of ScooterNova magazine is on the way!
Completed and printed in time for the Isle of Wight scooter rally next weekend, you can pre-order online and be one of the first to receive it.
So what’s to look forward to in edition 9?
We received the following statement from AF Rayspeed earlier today:
“Today we have received an update from the supplier regarding the new gear selectors for the Clo5e Ratio Gearbox.
“The new selectors are on the way to us, they left the supplier yesterday (Monday) with Fedex, we are hoping for a quick delivery.
“Many of you have already returned your gear selectors, these will be replaced as soon as the new ones arrive.
“Please, if you have not returned your gear selector send it to us and as soon as we receive it we can send out the replacement, please mark the package for the attention of Karen.
“We appreciate the patience that has been shown in relation to this issue, thank you.”
So, if like Andy you have a Clo5e Ratio gearbox loaded into an engine you’ve not yet been able to use, then good news is hopefully just around the corner.
And if you have not yet sent your original selector back to AF, then do so as soon as possible. Their address is:
AF Rayspeed Ltd., Five Acres, East Heslerton, Nr. Malton, North Yorkshire, YO17 8EN.
If you need to know more you can try telephoning 01944 710693, but you may have better luck sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Fingers crossed we’ll be riding them before the end of the summer!
Edition 8 of ScooterNova magazine is at the printers, ready to go. The last two months have flown by with rallies in England, Wales, Scotland and Spain to attend, keeping our scooters’ wheels turning almost non-stop!

Further to our previous update we have the following news, just received directly from AF Rayspeed:
“We have received the samples of the new design of selector and have been trying hard to break them. We fitted a sample in to one of the race bikes that had originally had a failure, and in over 60 laps at race pace on Monday there were no issues and no failure. After further discussion with the manufacturer it appears there is a manufacturing process that Continue reading
