After a wonderful weekend at Cleethorpes Scooter Rally, with beautiful weather both for the ride there and back as well as the rally itself, we decided to put this little video together as a Continue reading
While two months might seem to last forever to some people, here at ScooterNova it’s simply flown by!
The wait will soon be over however, with the second edition of the new ScooterNova scooter magazine being finished as we speak, and destined to end up on the printing press at the end of next week.
Issue 2 (July/August 2017) is due to be published at the end of June, and if you want to be one of the first to receive a copy and you’re not already a subscriber, then you can sign up online here.
You can also purchase individual copies of issue 1 and 2 online as well, from the same place.
We will be celebrating the launch of issue 2 of ScooterNova magazine at Cleethorpes BSRA National Scooter rally on the 8 July 2017, at our stall on the campsite so please do come along to see if we’ve a glass of something to quaff, or at least a free sticker to give away with every purchase!
ScooterNova stockists should have the magazine on shelves a few days after it is published, so check out your local retailer here (new stockists being added regularly, so please check back often.
As we’ve said previously, the response to issue 1 has been overwhelming, with a great number of scooterists keen to once again buy a scooter magazine that’s written by genuine scooter enthusiasts like themselves. We’ve spent our time since issue 1 was launched, riding around the UK and Europe to different events, checking out scooters for articles, listening to readers’ comments, and of course enjoying clocking up plenty of miles in the saddle.
As for content in issue 2, well we can promise you something Lambretta, something Vespa, a 3-wheeler, a German scooter (from the west side this time), something well-engineered, a few good rides, and part one of an amazing scooter riding adventure a couple from the UK undertook last summer. As well as a few others things too.
See you in Cleethorpes!
A new range of ScooterNova merchandise was launched at Weston-super-Mare scooter rally earlier this year, and promptly sold out on the spot. More stock has now been produced and is now available to purchase online here.
We will be adding to the range in due course with some interesting items currently being designed, so watch this space for further news.
Another Bank Holiday on the horizon means another BSRA National Scooter Rally.
If you didn’t make it to the first BSRA National Scooter Rally at Scarborough for the launch of ScooterNova magazine, while you missed out on a cracking rally (as well as the Easter eggs and bubbly) here’s another chance to check out Issue One of ScooterNova magazine at BSRA #2.
Since Scarborough we’ve had a lot of messages asking about our t-shirts, bags and other ScooterNova kit. Well, we’ve had a word with Crusader Promotions and they’ve been busy creating a variety of messenger bags and a ScooterNova tshirt which will be available at the Weston-super-Mare rally.
Have a fun ride and we’ll see you on the campsite this weekend for the second BSRA scooter rally of 2017.
A lot of you have been asking about merchandise and about our messenger bags in particular, so to get the ball rolling we have a special offer at the magazine’s launch in Scarborough!
Yes finally, a new video to watch! But first apologies for the abnormally quiet period from us but we’ve had a few exciting things going on in the background that we’ll be able to share with you Continue reading
Our friends over at Crusader T-Shirts have dropped us a line to say that their new website is now online, up and Continue reading
It might be late November but there are still plenty of reasons to ride your scooter socially, other than simply commuting to work. The South West Scooter Clubs for example, organise their final Continue reading
It’s a long way off, with many miles to cover before August, but with an end of June deadline on winning AAA tickets, we thought we’d share this early. We haven’t missed many Isle of Wight rallies over the years so it’s interesting to look back at how it’s evolved; from a basic field full of like-minded friends to an island wide festival and (almost) back again. With music festivals almost every weekend in the summer, it’s not just the entertainment that attracts so many. There’s no denying that it certainly is a spectacle to see so many scooters all in one place.
To help us all save our pennies for beer tokens, VFM have sent their Agent Lamb to negotiate a 20% discount with Red Funnel ferries for scooters only when you book online.
Another opportunity for some savings Get to SLUK for a chance to win AAA tickets:
Number 7 in the BSRA Best Supporting Member Championship and rally number 18 in the LCGB Riders Championship, scooter riders from all over will be there to enjoy the sights and the smell of two stroke as our small wheels invade the Isle of Wight this August Bank Holiday.
